Altium Wealth Management, LLC is pleased to announce Maria Bronzi (previously Maria Freburg) will join the firm, effective November 1, 2014, as Director. Ms. Bronzi will supervise the process, development and sales of the “Powered By Altium™” initiative.
Ms. Bronzi is an award winning financial professional who was most recently an SVP, Senior Business Banker, and immediately prior, was a VP, Market Manager, in the Westchester and Fairfield markets for Webster Bank, NA. She partnered with the principals of businesses to strategically restructure debt, improve cash flow and increase the value of their firms. During her tenure as Market Manager her team led the bank in customer satisfaction, overall performance, increased profitability, and community service and engagement.
During her 20-year career, Ms. Bronzi distinguished herself by bringing to bear innovative thinking and programs to clarify visions, enhance the cultures, profitability, and effectiveness of the companies where she worked. She is an expert at high performance team building, the fostering of Emotional Intelligence and the art and practice of Learning Organizations.
Prior to joining Webster Bank, Ms. Bronzi served as SVP, Retail Banking Director, for Wachovia in Tampa, FL. and Southern N.J. She managed teams up to 1,000 employees to double-digit growth. She led a Regional Diversity task force that developed training programs and hiring practices that established the standards that were adopted throughout the bank. She has held leadership positions at H&R Block, First Union, Key Bank, and Franklin First Financial Services.

Ms. Bronzi is a member of Board of Directors of “The Food Bank for Westchester”, the Chairperson of the Business Council of Westchester’s Rising Stars Alumni Steering Committee and the 2014 Corporate Citizen Honoree of “St. Christopher’s”.
A graduate of “Leadership Westchester,” she has served on the Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts of America Westchester/Putnam Council. She is a past President of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the White Plains Youth Bureau, and was the Chairperson of Westchester/Fairfield American Heart Association Go Red! Fundraising event in 2012. She served as a Loan Committee Member of Community Capital Resources. Ms. Bronzi received the 2013 “Shero Award” from the Professional Women of Westchester and is a member of the Rising Stars, BCW’s “40 under 40”, class of 2011. She resides in White Plains, New York.
