Altium Wealth Management is pleased to announce the promotion of two of its team members. Scott Tasch, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, has been named Managing Director and Gregory Slater, CFA, CFP® has been named Chief Investment Officer, both effective immediately.

Scott Tasch, CFP®, CLU, ChFC – Managing Director
As Managing Director, Tasch will continue to co-lead Altium’s private client team. This group is responsible for the development, communication and implementation of planning strategies for the firm’s private clients.
Prior to joining Altium, Scott was at Opus Advisory Group, LLC from 2002-2014, where he most recently served as managing director. He was named to Westchester Magazine's FIVE STAR: Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Managers in 2011 and 2012 and was recognized among Connecticut Magazine's 40 under 40 in 2011. He also served as a member of the national Make-A-Wish Foundation's Investment Committee from 2008-2010. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Marist College and holds his CFP®, CLU and CHFC® designations.
Tasch resides in Ridgefield, CT with his wife and two children.
Gregory Slater, CFA, CFP®– Chief Investment Officer
In his new role, Slater will be responsible for the firm’s investment portfolios. He will oversee the firm’s Portfolio Management team, Investment Committee, and asset management initiatives. He will also continue to work with his team to develop the firm’s short-term and long-term investment policies.

Slater joined Altium Wealth Management in 2014 as a Portfolio Manager, bringing 16 years of financial services experience. He began his career at Prudential Securities in 2000 and has worked for both large and boutique financial institutions. As an institutional equity research analyst, Slater was responsible for analyzing the financial strength and business strategies of both private and publicly traded companies and the suitability for potential investors. As a portfolio strategy analyst for a private client wealth advisory firm in NYC, he was able to successfully take his institutional asset management experience and apply it in the individual portfolio setting. Slater graduated Fairfield University Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and concentrations in Accounting and Economics. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004. He also received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2010.
Slater resides in Greenwich, CT with his wife and son.
