Altium Wealth Furthers Growth with Addition of Conor Ryan to Portfolio Management Team
Altium Wealth is pleased to announce the addition of Conor Ryan, CFA, CFP® to Altium’s Portfolio Management team. Conor joins the advisory team with over 16 years of financial services experience. Conor will work with clients to facilitate the construction and implementation of their investment portfolios as well as the integration of the firm’s comprehensive wealth management and planning offering. He will also serve as a member of Altium’s Investment Committee and be an integral part of future firm initiatives.
Prior to joining Altium, Conor was a Senior Wealth Manager with BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where he managed individual, trust and corporate client relationships, overseeing investment portfolios and developing solutions around complex financial challenges, including concentrated stock positions, exercising corporate stock options, transferring wealth to future generations and philanthropic goals. He was also a Member of the Tri-State Investment Committee, tasked with increasing awareness and understanding around all areas of the investment process throughout the region.
Prior to BNY Mellon, Conor was a Portfolio Manager at Highmount Capital, a boutique multifamily office, where he co-managed $1 billion dollars in high net-worth assets and maintained sole responsibility for research, strategic portfolio construction and trade execution for domestic taxable, tax-exempt and international fixed income assets. He was also a Member of the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee, responsible for firm-wide asset allocation decisions. Conor also held positions at Trainer Wortham & Co. & US Trust.
Conor received his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from St. Johns University. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts. Conor also holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation. In 2011, he was selected as one of the Westchester Business Council’s “Rising Stars: 40 under 40”.
